He shrugged when Legolas said he didn't know what pansy meant. It did seem like a fun word. As they both chased after Paisley, she didn't look at all amused. She stomped her hoof at Legolas but did pause when he spoke to her, trying to be more coaxing in the hopes of gaining her forgiveness. If she was really their sister, he didn't want her to be mad at them. How could they play if she was mad at them? She told him exploring sounded fun but she didn't know if she could play with him. Akello scowled thoughtfully, turning his head as Legolas spoke first, telling her he was staying with Akello before bringing up some caves. Akello felt torn, his gaze softening with a new protective instinct as he looked at Paisley. He wanted to get to know her better and keep her safe but he also wanted to play with Legolas and those caves sounded fun!

Turning to his sister, he snorted softly and lowered his head. "Would you give him one more chance? Try? I'll stay right by your side and make sure nothing happens to you." He tried to assure her with a new determination glittering in his eyes. Then he looked at Legolas. "I'll go with you to see the caves but only if she's allowed to come and no more teasing her." He stood politely by Paisley as he waited patiently for Legolas' reply. He didn't mind playing rough with his brother but something in him wanted to keep Paisley close by too.
