the revelation that she has family, here, on salem, has changed her life. the joy of it seems to transcend every little happiness she has ever experienced…bhaskara had spent the majority of her life alone, wishing to know her family, her homeland… and now that she has made a step in that direction she feels a lurch of confusion as to what is next. for so long her entire life had hinged upon returning to the isles of her birth… and then the desire to become the leader of the desert stole all of her motivation… and when it became clear she could not yet best the beast cain she had wandered for weeks, months even, in an awful uncertain state on the borders of the salem territories. though she is so grateful and glad to know her brother, she wonders what life will hold for her now. she was a creature who thrived on purpose and for the moment she felt somewhat concerned at the lack of it.

the shining bay mare walks the sandy shoreline of the dunes, considering the twists and turns of her life has taken as of late. the sun burns down, causing her bright mahogany coat to shine like copper and a gentle breeze tousles her black mane playfully. she leans in to that soft wind, as if allah himself is reaching down to touch her spirit. the sight of the waves, with their constant and repetitive motion, calms her. with curved ears, passed down from her mother, bhaskara listens eagerly to the soft rush of the moving water… there is a question for her, regarding what comes next. she is eager to talk again with bahadir but she feels they both perhaps needed some space after the discovery of their relationship. she can’t wait to learn more of his history and his plans for the future, hopeful that she will fit in somewhere. would he need her as much as she needed him?
