The filly seemed friendly enough, smiling as he ran toward her. She wasn't skittish either like Paisley could be sometimes. She acted sure of herself, not even flinching as he stopped in front of her. He felt like he'd seen her around before with his mother but mostly he just ran across her scent in the Desert from time to time. He'd seen a strange filly with the other mares of the herd sometimes but he didn't ask too many questions. At his questions, she gave her name as Jordan and said she was looking for more play mates. He couldn't help but grin as he lifted his head and pricked his ears, giving a charming smirk. "Well you came to the right place then." She admitted that she'd seen him before and he raised a brow in curiosity before nodding. "Yeah, I think I've seen you, too."

Then she asked the magic words and his tail started swishing in excitement as he widened his front legs to lower himself a little and his smirk turned into a full out grin. "Of course I do! My name's Akello. Want to explore some caves or chase some vultures?" He tried to think of all the fun things there was to do in the Desert. Maybe she needed a tour? Or maybe she'd already seen everything there was to see here. He suddenly tilted his head and straightened up as his ears flicked back in thought. "Hey, where'd you come from, anyway? You don't live in the Desert so where do you live?" It had only just crossed his mind. She came here a lot and he saw her with other mares. Did she have a mom? Would it be rude to ask? He suddenly had so many questions the more he thought about it.
