Rayna knew her father was trying with everything he has to keep the herd together and happy especially after Sabela passing. That really took a chunk out of them. Sabela may of been mute but her mother really seemed to be a tie that kept everyone together. She knew her father was at a lose to and part of her had wanted to comfort him but her own dispear in the loss of her mother was hard for her to try. Given he would of told her that she shouldn't worry about him. She loved her baby brother and in no way did she actually blame him for their mothers death but it was hard to look at him right now because it just brings back that hard day. The day her whole world had been torn a part and she crumpled to the ground in the heap. Biting at her father when he tried to come console her. It was Ylva her fathers new lead that had some how been able to comfort her. The mare had just laid right down and pressed her body close. Still allowing her near her deceased mother but also giving a live body to curl into.

She had seen the slight sadness in her fathers eyes and the helplessness he had felt but it was hard for Rayna who was still a filly. Come spring she would be two years old, a full fledged mare really. For atleast the rest of this year she would be learning to lead a herd by Xiomara, she wasn't sure what her father saw in the mare but it was enough that he was willing to put her in her care.

My brother might be a little, but he is still young. Not sure about my other siblings they got so much going on She said. From Havelle to Nattergal to Bran to the newer ones Amber Rose, Belzhar(spelling) and Belikov. She was excited to havea boyfriend even if it was the son of her fathers enemy. Its probably because they try to keep such things from us, my father tried to keep it from us but as I was the oldest I kinda felt it necessary to snoop and I knew I would be his heir, oh did I tell you that. I guess with how my father was raised his first born foal becomes the heir to the herdShe said standing a little prouder now.
