Her heart thunders wildly against her ribs, it vibrates her lithe body with every beat. Her nostrils quiver as she draws another breath, his scent is musky and heavy, and clings to her. She swallows the lump that grows in her throat, as he whispers her name into the still air. But then he presses his muzzle gently against her pale skin and it quivers at his touch. His breath sends a myriad of shivers down her spine. I can't believe it's you. A smile tugs at her lips as he steps back to look at her. "I can't belive its you either, but I am happy that it is," she muses aloud. Her ears flick atop her crown as she savors the sound of his voice around her. How many times had she wished she could have just one more night with him? Just to hear his voice one more time? She drops her gaze for a brief second, then his voice draws her back to him. He struggles to speak and her brow furrows as she wonders what lingers beneath the surface. What worries and concerns weigh on his shoulders? "Asche," she whispers again as an anxious smile spreads across his lips. She swallows the lump in her throat and inches closer to him. She tilts her crown as she finds her eyes drawn to his. "Asche, I want to tell you something. I found her. I found our daughter," she says as she reaches her muzzle to press it onto the bridge of his nose.
