can you see me now?

The black mare ducked her head when Illusion complimented her, saying her name meant a spark and Illusion smiled. "I'm guessing you were just as energetic as a foal, if not, more so. Maybe even the definition of energy." She gave a small chuckle, thinking of her own daughter, Raptor, once more. The mare commented on the sands being deep and she nodded in agreement. "Yes, they are." She'd learned to adapt to the deep sand sucking at her legs when she walked but she'd found quite quickly that the exhaustion of carrying a foal could take everything out of her. Her ears pricked toward Shararat as she said the terrain would build them up before suddenly asking what had deprived her of her own stamina. Illusion could only smirk a little as she nudged her head back toward her sides.

"I daresay incoming motherhood takes a lot out of you, including your stamina. Something to look forward to, I guess." Her eyes twinkled. She didn't regret making the decision to go to Bahadir. She knew he would be a good father and she did enjoy being a mother, no matter the hard work Raptor was to keep control of. Following the mare's gaze as she looked over the dunes, Illusion couldn't help but admire her home. It really was beautiful here. Shararat suddenly said they should run along the beach to stretch their legs and keep cool. Illusion pricked her ears toward the ocean and smiled. "That does sound nice." A small chuckle left her lips when she saw the black mare's energetic jogging in place. She could certainly see how she got her name.

The mare had big goals and Illusion wished her all the luck with them. Meanwhile, she tossed her head and took in a deep breath before launching herself down the dune and toward the beach. "Better get to stretching them legs if you want to climb dunes!" She called back over her shoulder, a huge smile on her face as she flattened her ears and reached out for more ground. It had truly been a while since she'd opened up and ran like this but oh, how fun it was!
