War has not been kind to the gray stallion. A warrior cannot engage on battle fields without feeling some of the enemy's fury. Warsaw is no exception. The small mare's brows knits with concern. She has no personal feelings for Warsaw. They have never met, after all, but his strong reputation has always made an alliance with him sound appealing. Rougaru's support has strengthened such affinities. Any friend of Rougaru's is a friend of Zjeenas. But Warsaw's condition now is most concerning. Zjeena hopes his healing is swift or is the ascent of a strong and loyal son to the head of the inlet. There is much more at stake here than this one stallion.
The mare inclines her head respectfully as he approaches. She is a guest in his home, and she will show her gratitude for being welcomed. "Hello Warsaw. It's nice to finally meet you.", she begins. "I'm here to speak with you in regards to our alliances." Zjeena doesn't waste any time getting down to business. She lifts her chin, and stands strong upon the icy ground. She carries herself with the presence of a much larger horse. Her dark eyes level with Warsaw's. "Paradise remains loyal to the alliance and your cause. We support you on the front lines." Her expression is stern. There is no jest in her voice. This is serious, and she means every word she says. "Others among us have been less than loyal. There is a dead weight on our team and I propose his removal."
Warsaw probably already knows who she's talking about, but Zjeena won't leave him guessing. "Paradise is one of the Inlet's oldest and most loyal allies, yet Liland has continued to meddle in the affairs of Paradise. I did not see his herd supporting our interests in the war. He is not worth our protection." The mare presents her case in sure tone. She is here not just on her own behalf but on behalf of every horse wronged by Liland in recent years, and that list is long. It's time for his reign to end, and the dawning of a new era.
