Solomon

A moment of silence grows between them as they study each other. She seems almost taken aback at his reply, and had turned the lightness of her gaze away from him toward the open expanse of the meadow as if to avoid him for a moment. He waits, his gaze still quietly resting on her face.

At her question he nods, but lets her continue. The Cove was indeed his home, and had been for nearly half a year now. He'd joined at Shaydowfax's side fairly early in the fall and now winter was winding down. Soon spring would bloom across Tinuvel and bring with it the arrival of his children, and with them would come the noise and laughter that the Cove currently lacked. Things were still tense with the three herds all occupying one land, hesitant to mingle or get to know one another.

The mare's next comment brings him back to the situation and a grin flits across his lips though it is not a broad one. "A name is somewhere to start, Tsillah."

Her name feels exotic on his tongue, a reordering of the sounds he'd known all his life. Her question brings him pause, but it is only momentary. The Cove bore it's memories in the very shape of the land, the lives that had been lived within it's borders. The children that had been conceived and born within it's confines. It wore it's history proudly, like a mantle, and Solomon had grown to love his icy home.

"The Cove is a place to create memories. It's a pretty place, but the treasure of it lies in the equines I've filled it with. For what it's worth, I think you would do well to meet Daciana, and Harley Quinn would welcome your company." He studies her for a moment, invitation written on his expression. "Would you like me to show you the way?"
