GOD WON'T SAVE YOU NOW

Warsaw
you should have known the price of evil

His Queen was a lot more concerned with the stranger than he was. It was rightfully so, but Warsaw found it easier to talk business with the stallions than it was with the mares. This may have been something that hurt him when it came to Xiomara and Shaydowfax, but he refused to accept an agreement while he still had other options. There were no other choices when it came to allowing Shaydowfax to rule the Cove which is why she was there now. He could feel Vita Nova's stern gaze on the side of his face. He knew somewhat of her concerns, but he allows this stallion the chance to explain himself while demanding respect at the same time.

He could feel her gaze fall on him again as Solomon addressed her, but she shouldn't worry. He had his own things to say to the male that showed the two of them needed just as much respect as the other. Aside from that, they needed two trusted stallions to rule the rest of the island. Liland has already agreed to their Kingdom, but he was a lot of trouble (maybe even more than they needed). It was the Cove he was mainly focused on since the need to evict Shaydowfax was intense in his mind. He would almost take anyone over her, but a stallion loyal to their cause was even more appealing.

He speaks to Solomon now and watches as the stallion finally shows a bit of respect to his Queen. Warsaw knew first hand how hard it could be to accept a mare as a powerhead, or even an equal, but if anyone was it was his Queen. He doesn't believe he has ever admitted that to himself before. Her whiskers tickle his chest as she announces her backing off so he could talk business with the stallion. It was remarkable at how great her timing was, but also how she allowed him to do his own thing while keeping a protective distance.

His mate wasn't going to lose him anytime soon and she ensures this by keeping her strength on hand just in case this Solomon may try something sneaky. Dark eyes watch her with a half-smirk before his serious gaze turns back to Solomon as the stallion begins to speak again. He explains he was using Shaydowfax as a cover though honestly, any stallion in his position would be saying so. Not many would admit a mare was stronger than the supposed male protector. Warsaw was one of those so he understood perfectly. His ears perk straight as Solomon mentions the magic words 'when I remove her'. The stallion truly had his attention now.

Ah, Requiem. The nervous nelly has disappointed him many times and at the same time proven himself. He has ruled the Bay once, then the Cove, and though his rule had been short both times he did seem to have a few mares that stayed loyal to him. I guess it was time Warsaw let the stallion live in peace when he now had so many options to choose from in leading his surrounding lands. Solomon explains he would be chasing Shaydowfax out with or without his permission which was fine except Warsaw requires lead stallions in agreeance with his family's rule.

Solomon says he would keep Requiem as his second, as Shaydowfax has done, but Warsaw would much rather Requiem learn from Solomon than from that pesky mare. "My son can make his own choices at this point, but if he decides to stay with you I'm sure he would appreciate the offer. As far as I know, he only cares about keeping the little herd he has safe and happy." Still, Solomon claims he was experienced at leading a herd (which Requiem was terrible at), but Warsaw knows how his son has grown in battle.

As if the stallion was reading his thoughts, Solomon comments on proving himself in battle. Though he does this while asking for a favor from the King. Warsaw's eyed narrow as the stallion assumes his action of letting Requiem be his second was enough to gain his aid. The reality was Warsaw required a few things first and it was similar to what Solomon was asking of him. He stays quiet for a few minutes and allows the stallion's request to fester in his mind. Dark mochas just stare across the distance to the tall champagne stallion until he finally breaks the silence.

Finally, he asks what he wants out of the deal. "I'm glad you finally asked. You see, typically a King makes the offers and not the other way around. You can ask for what you want, but you ask for a big thing. You ask for support in battle, but my family barely knows you. I am looking for stallions loyal to my Kingdom to rule the Bay and the Cove, but there has to be mutual respect. In order for me to protect your reign on the Cove, you would need to show my Inlet equal protection as well as allowing yourself to bow to your King and Queen."

"Keeping my Monarchy strong is my main focus from here on out. I am focused on pushing out anyone who doesn't share my same values in keeping my family in power. At the same time, I will aid my strengths to keep a stallion my Earl if he shows he is loyal to my family's Monarchy. In conclusion, in order for me to help you keep the Cove you will agree that my family is royalty and own this island. You would be an Earl, a titleholder of the Cove. You are welcome to do as your wish on your land, but respect is given to anyone of my blood. My allies are your allies and we share enemies."

"Being someone new to the islands, I doubt you have many enemies or allies, but if you were to have a problem with one of my allied causes we will have an issue. I am already dealing with that similar issue on the Bay." He realizes he has a lot to talk about with his Queen. When all this mess was sorted out he would need a private conversation with Vita Nova. His throat clears loudly as his weight shifts to his other side. "You will need to grow stronger Solomon. Tinuvel needs strong leaders to keep it standing united. Tinuvel is not the easiest island to take roost on so it requires stallions of a certain character. Are you prepared for this hardship?"
