Leyra loved this, relished these moments. The time when she had truly and completely made another completely lost, but the part she absolutely hated about all of this was that this girl, just like her father, had no emotional activity beyond her blank statements. She blinked, she spoke but there was no feeling in it. So much calm, too much calm, and it was so absurdly boring to her!

The dapple grey spins in place as Liland finally appears, and her blue eyes go wide as she feigns her surprise and reels backwards. She shakes her head hard, like it hurt, and she keeps her eyes shut for a moment, hard and firm as she bows her head.

“I must be losing my frickin’ mind,” she swears. She opens one eye, then the other and gives a way too large and long sigh of relief. “Oh good, I’m not. I think if there was two of you I might not be able to handle that. Would explain a lot though,” she says with a wicked smile, one that curls her nostrils and makes her eyes burn bright.

And she turns her gaze to Liland.

“Oh, a lass named Monster told me an entertaining tale and you, a girl called Zjeena and oh, what was his name?” She says, as she makes a show of looking for the name inside her mind, narrowing one eye as she looks upwards as if deep in thought, and then smiles.

“Rougaru, that was it,” she says his name in an offhand way. Let’s see if he does react to the name, she thinks, as she dances sideways and watches him with a scrutising, mischevious eye. “It was quite the story. Care to weigh in it any part of it?

She asks him in a sweet voice. Let’s see what he says, but Leyra would not blindly follow him either. She had her own mind, but she was determined now, at least, to annoy the heck out of him until he left that mare Zjeena alone.

And Leyra had to meet her too.
