Fate has brought her back to her birthplace as if it was there she was meant to be. She had hoped to be moved out and in love by now, but things were too complicated. Love was a hard thing to maintain and even harder to know if you were with the right one. At least she had Paisley out of this whole mess. If nothing else, having the filly was a life-changing experience and for now, her daughter was typically glued to her side. One day that would all change the more seasons that passed and like her mother, she would fall into the trap of a male searching for mares. Prim just prayed her experiences played out much better than her own had. This past year has been one hell of a ride.

Gentle steps are taken as she walks the area known as the falls. It was so beautiful here, a good choice of scenery for a mare reflecting on her mix of emotions. She didn't know what she was going to do, or say, to Cain. Father didn't want her to return to the stallion who mistreated her on their first months together, but since then he was grown tremendously. This was too much to handle! Her head shakes violently as she walks, but she stops as she nearly trips. It was then that she heard the bickering voices nearby. Golden ears flicker as she catches some part about 'if you’re done dyin’ slowly I’ll get to see you livin’ for a change'. This intrigues her as she curves her neck around a thick tree trunk to peer at the two horses.

From what she gathered, this older stallion was just going through the motions just a dying man. He wasn't living life the way it should be lived. Prim studies the two characters, noting how similar they were in markings. It was obvious to her that two horses were related so maybe it was unwise to barge into a family matter, but something here was calling to her. She steps out of her hiding spot with green eyes staring at the older male as she took a few slow steps closer. She didn't want to make herself seem rude by eavesdropping so at least she was making her presence known to them.

Her throat clears. "Excuse me," she speaks quietly. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to listen to your conversation. I was just walking by when I heard you both talking." She smiles sheepishly with a nod of her head in the direction of the duo. She wasn't sure why she was even saying anything, but something about the mare's scoldings called to her. This old stallion was wandering through life with no purpose almost like she was. Primrose was stuck at a crossroad and for the past two months, she has been searching for an answer. Searching for the path she should take next.
