He felt important and useful shwoing Cerosi around and hoped that she was having just as much fun as he was. He'd hate to think she was bored with the experience. At her question of his birth, he flicked an ear back to hear her and turned his head just enough to show her a proud grin as he nodded. "Yep, sure was. My mother is a herd member here." It seemed the longer he was around the gray mare, the more she seemed to relax and loosen up a little. He was glad to make her feel comfortable. That had to mean she felt safe, right? He trotted ahead, letting her get a drink before continuing to the cave. Geneva used to hang out in there a lot to get out of the sun. The yearling always thought it was a cool place to explore and play when he had Legolas around. Now he knew all the twists and turns inside and all the cool stuff to find. Maybe she'd like it too. He showed her the entrance and waited on her to make the next move. As she ventured inside, he watched with a small smile, wondering how she felt about it. When she came back and gave a little crow hop, he chuckled lightly with a spirited toss of his own head. She thanked him for showing her around and asked to see the rest. Akello dipped his head politely. "Any time. Right this way." Lifting his head proudly, he turned to continue the tour. He showed her some more oases, wanting to make sure she always knew where food and water was. He showed her some of the cool fruit trees if she wanted something new and exotic and the bigger trees that had the best shade. He showed her the bushes that had flowers blooming and the hidden bays that went out to sea where there was plenty of schools of minnow to chase and splash. He glanced up only when he noticed the sun starting to set in the sky and realized they'd been at it for hours. He looked almost sheepish as he looked back at Cerosi. "Guess it's getting pretty late. Do you need me to escort you anywhere to bed down for the night? I don't want to keep you."
