A chance indeed! Chimeras did not believe in giving a blind eye or ear to a cause. Cain had not treated her with ill and so, neither would she return it. There was no reason to judge without knowing what there was. There is a story in every land and every creature. One had to take the time to listen and get to know their surroundings. They needed to take care to get to know those around them. It was only right and only fair. Chimeras saw no reason to hasten her attention elsewhere when it was welcomed here. No reason at all to take her leave so briskly and cruelly. No, that would not be happening here and it seemed to comfort him. Chimeras is then comforted in knowing that he too was wishing and willing. To get the chance to know her and the likes.

"Ah but has he not taken to the forage around us?" Usually when you were forced too early to find a way to survive, you often took to the greenery around you. Chimeras was unsure though. How young was the boy? Too young to take to his surroundings for nourishment? It maybe was not the best option early on but if it kept you alive? It was worth it wasn't it?

"Is he so young that he cannot take to the grass?" She is curious now of course and why wouldn't she be? There is concern with the mare for this child she hasn't even met yet. Perhaps it would show Cain that he needn't worry of this mare having care for those around her. There is much compassion where she is concerned and rightly so.

(I'm being lazy with html, more so any little bit less of working my finger/wrist to lessen the effort it takes to work things in I guess. It will come again, in time. SHe'll not be htmless forever lol.)
