He watches Creed closely to see if she would give Aponi any hints to why she didn’t leave this island. Maybe the mare could help Creed get over her fear or maybe they could take that task on together as a team. He was fully prepared to support Creed in a swim across the ocean to show her the Badlands. Roheryn just wanted to be with her, learn more about her, and start a family with her. There was no lust involved when it came to Creed which is why he has never forced her to come with her and why he asked Persephone permission to take care of her friend.

But he would never force her into the sea if she wasn’t ready. He watches as Creed turns to Aponi and explains her reasons for not coming to his home. He smiles lightly as she admits her fear so freely. This was a step in the right direction so he had hope some day she would make the journey to visit him instead of the other way around. Persephone had somehow gotten her this far so maybe it was the Forest leader he needed to talk to next.

Aponi comments she has never met anyway scared of the sea before. The silver bay dun then asks an intriguing question. He was curious himself as to why she was afraid so he listens closely to the answer Creed gives her. Learning this may help her get over her fear or even help her friends to figure out a way to help her. Looking up to the sky, Roheryn soon realizes that he should be getting home. He was sad to say goodbye to the mares, but he had hope Aponi could help Creed would through her fear for the next time he came to visit her. Perhaps she would even pay him a visit next.

He steps closer to the black mare and reaches out his muzzle to nuzzle her shoulder. He speaks as he pulls away, sky blue eyes staring into her brown gaze. “Creed I think about you a lot and since the war I am always worried about you. It would be nice to be able to see you every day, but I know this is your home. I just want you to know that I really, really, like you.” A smile pulls across his face as his sights linger on her for a few seconds more. His head then turns to Aponi. “Aponi, I hope the two of you can become friends and protect each other in troubled times. It would ease my heart to see another traveling closely with Creed.” He gives the bay mare a nod of his head.

”It is time for me to travel back to my herd, but I hope to see both of you again soon.” Creed gets one last longing glance before he turns away from the mares and travels back to the beach.
