With an innocent heart, she loves

Eness
..mare..five..arabian..black rabicano..15.1 hh..

Her voice is gentle and soothing, an understanding tone that does not berate Eness for not knowing of their customs. She soaks it all in like a sponge, a very impressionable one if anything. Soul sewn, or Soulmate; the one who completes you and makes you a whole. Was that not what her Sakh was to her? Thinking on it, Eness can’t remember a time where she felt empty without her friend, lonely yes, but to feel as though you had a constant void in your soul was never there with her. Soundlessly they had completed each other, and Eness had thought that to be enough until meeting Atair. If there was anything the dark mare had feared telling her friend, it was about falling in love. Eness had been wary of that, knowing just how much her beloved depended on her; they didn’t need a male in the mix to complicate things, but was Atair that, just a complication?

She fights the urge to look at him, focusing on Sayyida more to keep a level head or else lose herself into the dark. Sakhmet always looked out for Eness and her happiness, this is true, even if it came from sacrificing her own to do it. Eness was neither blind or stupid to not notice, shoosing to try to brighten the other’s day constantly as much as she could. Would Sakhmet want this? A small shake of her head has her clearing those thoughts, no, she had to think for herself right now. Sayyida’s comforting touch is enough for Eness to still her tears and calm her rampant breaths, the heavy echoing beating of her heart calming again to a gentle rhythm. The other mare goes into detail of her story, something she didn’t have to do, but clearly for the sake of both Eness and Atair it was a tale that had to be told. Gentle eyes meet hers and curious ears lean towards that of Sayyida as she settles in to listen, the quiet night breeze their only companion.

She was tempted to let on to Sayyida that she had already somewhat heard this tail from her darling already, and a bit from Atair, but to hear it from the mare’s point of view was somewhat different and a bit more enchanting. Eness finds herself smiling and chuckling along with her.

“I believe I understand now Sayyida,” she sighs, her heart in her throat as she speaks as confidently as possible, “but yes, I do have my doubts given my season is at its peak moment and perhaps that is my only clause to not give in so easily as i do not wish to be with a child as of yet. I do not believe Atair would make me choose between him and Sakhmet, and as you said, there is nothing wrong for me to love them both which had at first led to this dilemma of mine.”

Finally, she looks over her shoulder to him, seeking to meet his watching gaze. ”You have made my confusing world just a bit more clearer Sayyida,” Eness praises her, the smile on her lips both for the dark male and her new friend.
