Lace had enjoyed her time with Letavice at the Falls, but was glad to continue their adventure, her curiosity burning deep in her gut. It was partly what kept her warm as they had entered the cool sea waters and swam towards the frigid isle, but the other was the heat left upon her shoulder from his touch. It had been brief, and the young stallion had probably not thought twice about it, but it had caused a flush across Lace’s cheeks that she was glad couldn’t be seen.


She tried not to think about it too much now as she swam along side him, her blue eyes fastened upon the growing land ahead. Only as they reach land, her hooves clamoring up onto the rocky beach, does she briefly glance to Letavice to make sure he makes it up beside her. The water clings to him, darkening his coat and flattening it to his flesh to better show the lines of muscle on his youthful body. Lace finds the same warmth from before grow on her face, and she quickly looks away and shakes the salty water from her coat.


Taking a few steps forward, Lace looked inland towards the scenic view offered. The stark contrast of the green pines, dark rocks and outlines of snow were breath taking. Lace could not recall ever seeing a place so diverse, and a smile quickly curved her mottled lips. “Words would never do justice to this place.” she said before allowing herself to look at Letavice again. She felt a new appreciation towards him, feeling he would carry the same strength this land seemed to emit. Weak could not survive here in this climate and terrain.
