N.asa has mostly kept to herself since joining Cain in the desert. Unfortunately, it's hard to break through a shell you've encased yourself in for a long time. Cain approaches her cautiously as the dark blue sky begins to shift to shades of pink, red, and orange signaling the new day. Her ears flick to him as he inquires as to how she's settled. Since coming to the Desert, N.asa had noticed an audible shift in the nature of the place. She noticed there was an overwhelming sense of sorrow in the area. She chews her lip for a moment in thought. "I like it here, but I can't help wondering how you are doing. Things have seemed to have changed since my arrival." She starts softly. She turns to give him her full attention. N.asa knew the deep feelings of loss of those you cared about most. It was a heavy feeling she carried with her for a long time. Long before her arrival to the island. It was still something she was learning to process. "I know how loss can weigh on the body." Because she did. It had aged her. Aged her beyond anything she could begin to comprehend. She sighed heavily. It HAD aged her. It had traumatized her. It was her hope that sharing these deep feelings with Cain, may heal her. She gazes at him with sympathetic eyes. "How can I help?" |
