Annubis watched with mild interest. Small raven tipped ears perk amid the wind knotted tangle of his dark mane. Deep emerald green eyes gleam in the pale dappled sunlight as the pale mare and her young foal appeared, interrupting the first few moments he had had alone with father for weeks. Immediately anger had flashed in his eyes, disgust and hatred for the pale mare as she weaseled her way in between him and his sire. A sharp snort blew from his nostrils now as he takes a step backwards with ears pinned and muzzle lifted.

He wanted to tell her where she could shove it. He wanted to tell her to go find something else to do or someone else to annoy but there was something about the look in father's eyes as he stared at the mare. At least for the moment, Annubis was all but forgotten. His heart deflated a bit, but the silver buckskin colt was not about to show that to the world. Instead he gives his own proud head a toss, a single charcoal dusted forelimb raking the ground in frustration. The smaller filly moves towards him now, diverting his attention away from the mare and Rougaru.

Annubis does not miss the less-than-subtle roll of her eyes and he cannot help the slight smile that tugs the corners of his whiskered lips. At least he was not alone in thinking that this disruption was pointless. A single dial flickers towards her, a single brow raised though suspicion remained clear. Despite himself his velvet muzzle wrinkles in displeasure. He does not wish to encourage the small female, his interests lingered upon war and battle; on learning and achieving greatness. He had no interest in the dealing with pesky females. If anything father had taught him that much. Mares and the like were nothing but trouble.
