She was ready for whatever was coming for her. She thought so at least, but in reality, she was afraid. The closer the figure got, the more her legs shook with anticipation. Curved ears perk forward as his features become recognizable. She sees the stance of a King, a stallion with a coat of brown with dark hair, and legs that were much longer than her own. His figure was slender, much like her own, but his coat held a shimmer that hers did not. He is beautiful, she thinks, but he was very much her senior. Her head bows awkwardly once he got close enough for talk. It might do her some good to show respect and gain his trust so that she could visit more often.

Brown eyes find his as her head raises back up to look at his face. He speaks, welcomes her back considering she was a returning face in this land. A flush of red lights up her cheeks as her eyes scramble away to the sand at his hooves. ”T-Thanks.” She mutters and fumbles over her words. ”I was born here under one of the previous leaders. Not the mare, but the stallion Bahadir. Though the mare was a friend, but she is gone now.” She rambles a bit as she grows the confidence to look this new leader in the face again. Her tail slaps against her thighs as a hoof paws at the sand nervously. She realizes she had just assumed this stallion to be the new leader while he had not actually said it himself.

She finds the courage to look at him with the idea that he may just be a random commoner. ”Do you live here?” She makes eye contact and keeps it this time as she waits for her answer. If he did mention being the new lead stallion her gaze would then drop respectively (and nervously).
