And the cold lonely air. On the rock restless seas. They stood awkwardly in a brief standoff, complicated feelings surrounding them in the snowy, desolate enclave. But quietly, Tavas was glad for the distraction the red mare offered. She needed a minute to cool off, even though inwardly, she was fighting this frenzy to get the hell out of the Inlet as fast as she could. The palomino mare breathed a heavy sigh then, sucking the cool, dry air into her lungs and expelling it quickly as Siobhan offered up an apology. Tavas flashed the tall mare a short-lived smile, appreciative of her sensitivity in the matter. She was a breath of fresh air compared to her earlier cruel encounter with Nyimara. Two golden ears flicked forward when the stranger revealed that she had, in fact, come from the Ridge. Tavas eyed the mare more seriously now, given this connection. She mentioned Ailill, and immediately the kind, chivalrous pale stallion flashed in her mind. Tavas felt sorry for the mare then - to be here with the likes of Nyimara when he family was waiting for her on another island. "God, if I never have to see that bitch again, it would be too soon." Tavas blurted out with a cold, blunt stare. There was no use hiding the anger she felt - not now. She softened some as she looked back to Siobhan. "I'm sorry." Tavas stiffened when the mare asked if she was in a similar situation. She snorted once in lingering irritation of Bjorn's brown mare before answering. "No. The Inlet belonged to my family, until Bjorn decided he wanted it for himself." She explained with the flick of her blonde tail. "I just came home - from the Ridge, actually - to find this out." She looked to Siobhan again with sympathy in her eyes - sad to reveal she came from where the mare longed to be. "I'm Tavas, by the way." She offered, again with a limp smile. "I met Ailill briefly in my travels. He is very kind."
