It was a quiet day. There was a soft breeze that laced over her body and around it. A chill slipped over her only briefly as it was still early in the days of spring. There is nothing amiss it would seem. Not as far as Aponi was concerned. All was well in the forest paradise that was her home with others. She knew so little about most of them though; including the Matriarch. That was needing to change of course When though? Sooner than she might have thought honestly. It was a time for development. It was a time to shine and prosper. Something Aponi was getting nowhere at hiding behind the silence of the trees. It didn't sit well with her that she knew so little about those around her. She'd have to amend that little by little.
Persephone was idly standing and gazing up at the canopy of littered branches and leaves. An ear flicked and a soft nicker left Aponi upon her approach as to not startle the female standing alone. One wouldn't want to get the brunt of another's anger if they were not appreciative of being startled.
"Hello Persephone. We have not talked often but I would wish to change that." There is a smile on her lips and hope in those bright shimmering eyes of hers. "I am Aponi in case you had forgotten." After all; they had not conversed much at all. Aponi hadn't met but two others aside from the Matriarch. She needed to better herself at getting to know her companions. She was far too quiet and that just wouldn't do. Your herd was your family and not knowing them was never a good thing. Attention now was not on the others. No, it was on the mare before her. There is still that welcoming smile upon Aponi's lips and she stood; watching. "How does the late morning fair you dear one?" To Aponi, the other was dear one. They were the leader of this paradise in the trees. They deemed any endearment tone that another could give them. Watching now in silence. Waiting of course for what happened next. Replies:
