The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.
It's a multi-color life

Chimeras had not intended on ignoring Cain. It had not been the hopes of she at all. Life just had a way of making things happen or not. It wasn't that she didn't want to get to know him. Was she hesitant that something might happen if she gave her heart to him? Was she fearful of being taken away? Of getting her heart broken? Not exactly but she did fear him not feeling the same way. She had come here on a whim and she had decided to make the Desert her home. Cain's son had been much her attention. Chimeras had taught him what it was to really play. A determination had grown in the boy between Berit and she's attention. This pleased Chimeras. He was growing well. Such flourish from Carbon that she hadn't seen when she'd first come here. There was no longer a worry of his well being.

It as time she focus on the herd though. That of course, included in getting to know the stallion who was winning her heart. His call had answered her own and Chimeras waited. It wasn't a long wait of course. Cain seemed to be more swift of late and this also appeased her. Losing the herd to another must have opened his eyes to the dangers of falling silent too long. Galexia was young and bold. Chimeras liked that. She did not fault the younger mare for her actions. She had never seen the stallion with her, but that didn't matter to her right now.

Galexia had returned Cain his herd having been too overwhelmed with the birth of her child. Amuse sprung to her gaze as she saw Cain's approach came with a few pretty wild flowers. There is a smile on her lips and her eyes are laughing with comfort. What a sight to behold of him presenting she with flowers. Not to disappoint; Chimeras takes them gently in her grasp of those ivory teeth. She brushes her nose against his own in this process before snaking the side of her cheek against his own.

Chimeras had brought her head away then and dropped the flowers gently at her feet. She was unsure of how to respond. What did one say in a moment like this? A gift was either met with gratitude or met with disagree. Clearly; Chimeras was not the latter nor dreamt of being so. Why would she when Cain had been nothing but gracious and welcoming to her? Chimeras is nervous though. How would he react to her affection? Was it too soon? Was it misplaced? She didn't believe so but one would have to be brave and make it all known. Put her heart on her sleeve for him to pick apart or to cherish.

"Thank you." She murmurs. One might normally eat flowers were they to come upon them. She may later as they would wither and die otherwise but she wished to savor the moments in which they had come into her care. "I am well. It has been trying in the past months but nothing we did not overcome." She murmurs sweetly and there's a smile on her lips and shimmering eyes of bright delight. "Those that stood to remain are the true ones that call the Desert their home. A new leader for a while called to us, but we did not fault her." Galexia deserved no blame. It would have been foolishly placed and childish. Both things of which Chimeras is not. That out of the way though; it was time for more.

"I have been thinking. I've been here awhile now. Too long though; have we been without the guidance of leading mare." Was she about to ask too much? She knew that Cain had made it clear that the herd picks his Lead Mare. Chimeras wanted to know that she is making the right choices though. Did she have his blessing? These moments would surely tell her. She is hesitant only a couple of moments before taking a deep breath and speaking again.

"I wish to step forward and offer the herd my servitude as their Matriarch." She gently moves her nose toward his own again here. Those sparkling eyes showing all the affection that is placed in her words and actions now. Cain would understand her actions if he were to feel the same affection. Chimeras would see soon enough.
