The small grullo paint was growing fast. The first days of his life had proven well. The days went on with boredom. There was no one to play with at home. No one to chase or question. There was no one but mother. This is why the boy had begged and begged to go to the Falls. Mother had finally agreed and was in the distance watching. Andreania would never be far from her child. Not while he was still so new to the world. Barely a month or two. The time went on as a blur really. Not for the child though. Rolex had his days going by at a snail's pace and he just wouldn't settle for that.
This is why when he caught sight of the black and white creature, he trotted toward him. A couple of kicks of his heels showed he was in a rather playful mood. Rolex was merely looking for others. Mother had told him to be careful but this stallion didn't seem to be threatening right now. Mother had taught him all about body language and he was paying close attention to this now. Rolex pauses only a little distance out of respect. The boy wanted to trudge forward and ambush the stallion with conversation, but only if he were to be perceived well. Only then would he amble to the stallion and barge into conversation that had lacked him for so long now.
"Hi! I'm Rolex. Who are you?" It only seemed logical to say who he was and inquire who the other was. I mean you couldn't talk to someone and expect to magically know their name or that they would know your own. That just wasn't how it worked. Even Rolex knew that. "You don't smell like the other horses from Atlantis. Are you from the sea homes?" Rolex couldn't help himself. He was alone with only his mother for far too long. Questions were there and he is so curious of others. It just came out; he couldn't help but burt it all over the place like a social butterfly. Replies:
