This was a tender situation and he had to tread carefully. Before he knew it, he was suddenly supporting her weight. Roheryn saw this as a sign of trust so finally his nervous smile turns to a genuine one. So, he made his next move. He goes into the sea and tries to make the situation more light hearted and fun. He tries to get her used to feeling the cold water on her skin and if she decides to take that first step it, feeling the waves against her legs. Their eyes meet and he sees a twinkle in her eye he doesn’t recall being there before. You have it, she says. You have my trust. He finished the words in his head and he tries to paint a picture of what their life could be.

He turns back to her as she speaks. He nods as she asks if he will stay close. ”Of course I will. I am not leaving without you this time.” He smiles and waits patiently as she takes those first steps into the sea. Roheryn wants to step closer to her, but decides it was best if she came to him so he waits. He could see the tremble in her legs, but he encourages her with a broad smile and eyes never leaving her. ”You can do this,” he says once she grows closer. Finally, she is close enough to touch so he reaches out and embrace her in a nuzzle. Her nose gently traces her chest before the side of his head rubs against her ebony shoulder. ”You are doing great.” He pulls away, but keeps his face close to hers with light blue eyes staring into her dark browns.

”Just keep your eyes on me, okay? We will do this together.” Roheryn turns and angles himself beside her, pressing his skin into hers. The water sloshes between them in the action, dampening his coat further up that it was originally. His eyes never leave her face as he takes the first step forward and expects her to do the same. Roheryn keeps the pace very slow and steady as he waits for her to take each step after him. He stays pressed tightly to her until they were deep enough to start a swim. He quickly guides his body back to as his legs kick underneath his body to keep himself afloat. ”Are you ready?” He asks with a soft smile before going any further. She still had time to back out, but he really hoped she didn’t. They were so close to getting out to sea and closer to Salem.
