When the familiar paint stallion did come into view, he looked a little banged up, like he'd recently been in a clash. Collision snorted softly in concern, his ears laying back as he stepped closer. What else had happened in the lagoon since he left? But as he stepped closer, the tobiano realized he recognized the scents on Cullen's coat. Wasp...Rhadra? His heart skipped a beat at the thought of the gentle black mare who had befriended him and let him stand watch over her and her daughter, Izzy. Why would Cullen smell like them? He gave a short snort, his brows furrowed in confusion as he sized up the stallion he had always come to know as a friend. Cullen had never been anything but nice to him and he was a fair leader. Maybe Collision didn't always see eye to eye with him when it came to the mares they brought there but he'd never felt the sudden emotions he felt stirring up inside him. He barely heard the stallion as he greeted him, saying it had been a while.
The tobiano had to shake his head to clear his mind as he pricked his ears to listen. Distractedly, he nodded. "Yeah, it has." He agreed. When the stallion suddenly apologized, he couldn't hide his surprise. The stallion admitted he was injured after the war and couldn't fight. Collision nodded. After all, he didn't regret the time he spent with the mares in the peak. He never would have met Rhadra or found an alliance with Bozena. Of course, Cullen didn't mention them though. He asked after Verrat, the stallion who stood up to fight Bozena when the stallions were first taken. Collision scowled and shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. I haven't seen him. He must have been lying low in the peak." Deciding he couldn't take it anymore, he met Cullen's gaze once more. "Speaking of, have you been there recently?" He had to know what happened, why he smelled like them. Would Cullen lie to him?
