He hadn't expected help to come so quickly, but he was grateful it did. Hearing the running hoof beats, the yearling colt snorted and tossed his head, fully ready to act like it was no big deal that he had a crab hanging from his tail when the young filly came running into sight. She put on the brakes and slid to a stop, a laughing mare behind her almost running into her smaller backside in her haste. Chronos glared at them expectantly, his green eyes already full of attitude as if to say "what you staring at?" He continued to swish his tail almost sneakily behind him, still hoping the crab might get bored and let go. The golden colt scowled at the duo as they continued to stare at him, his lips twisting up into a formidable scowl before he offered a huffing snort which seemed to keep the filly grounded right where she was. The mare didn't seem too impressed though, chuckling as she moved around her daughter to tell him to hold still. He twisted his head around to watch what she was doing, his eyes critical.

"Hey, that thing bites, just so you know. Might not want to put your muzzle too close." He figured he was being helpful. "Oh, and I totally had it, just so you know. He was going to give up before I did." He had to let her know she wasn't helping him because he NEEDED it. He ws gracious accepting her help because that's how cool he was, right? That's what he wanted her to think, anyway. Meanwhile, he glanced over where the filly was, his nostrils wrinkled as he tried to figure out if she was worth playing with or not. Why did she look scared? Smirking mischievously, he lowered his head and jumped toward her. "Boo!"
