She asked how he felt like an outsider and he gave a little sigh. He wanted to explain it without making the badlands or Roheryn look bad. It wasn't the pale paint's fault that he was bored all the time or felt like that. Kamekaze felt like that was the case most of the time in a herd environment anyway. If you weren't the lead stallion, you were all alone, unless you could make a family for yourself. Well, so far he had failed in that regard, but at least he was making friends. He scowled thoughtfully as he thought about his words before responding. "Yeah, I'm the Second, but there's only a handful of mares and it's hard to make friends without seeming 'too friendly' with the mares that belong to the lead stallion. They all care about him so it's not like they give me much attention, which leaves me to go outside the herd to find someone to talk to." He tilted his head, wondering if that was enough to make her understand or if he'd need to find other ways to word it. When he tried to figure out her own herd, she giggled at his wording and he grinned at the musical sound. He didn't miss the eye roll when he teased about kidnapping her. She chose not to answer so he turned to the ocean, eager to put some distance between them and the mainland so he could see the rest of the islands, and with company to boot. What could be better? As she pushed into the waves next to him, he heard her say to just see where they end up and he snorted softly. "Aye aye, captain." He said with a smirk before he started swimming. Soon enough an island came into view. He flared his nostrils, but didn't recognize the scents. The place looked almost like a jungle on the water. It smelled exotic and fun. As they trudged up on shore, he shook out his coat with her and watched as she took off into the trees with another giggle. Snorting, he laughed and launched off after her. "Always!" He yelled back in answer as he darted through the trees, keeping her in sight but also watching for other horses. Surely they wouldn't be the only ones here, right?
