Tyr finds himself persistent, even as she backs away from him, to be in her presence. The fear that radiates from her, swamping his senses, made every nerve in him want to turn to violence. To rid the world of whatever it was to make the red woman behave in such a way. But he needed to be calm, to seem unaffected by her panic, so that it would not push her into the deeper pit of hysteria. Only when he can finally brush her with his gentle nose, does he seem to get through to her. His ears pushing forward when she says his name with a little more recognition.

�Shhh� he quiets the frightened mare as the words spill from her lips. �You are safe now. There is no need to fear anymore.� Tyr comforts, easing a bit closer still as he hopes to draw his lips across her crimson colored neck in a brief caress. The scent of her as it filled his lungs was nearly enough to make him forget about the threat that might have pursued her. Hoping to continue easing closer, Tyr tried to drape his neck over her withers as he had done the last time they had spent time here in the Falls. To tuck her against him and chase away her fears in his warm embrace.

With a glance around, Tyr does not find evidence of another, despite the lingering feel of them being watched. �Do you think you can go much further?� His deep voice is still gentle, even affectionate as he speaks to Kvothe. Tyr would rather they go deeper into the shadows, to tuck her away among the vegetation to deliver their child rather than here, somewhat in the open. Either way he would not leave her side.
