He could tell Ruger meant something to Persephone with the way her eyes lit up as he spoke about his father. He liked to know that his father had strong ties with other herds. It made him feel even more proud to be reaching out and reconnecting those ties with his mission. She said she was pleased for him and Ryder dipped his head. "I'll be sure to let him know I ran into you. I'm sure he'll be pleased."

When he asked her about Eve and Iris, he could tell she was disappointed she didn't know more about them. She said that she hoped they weren't in trouble and that she planned on visiting Luthien and maybe some of the other islands. She offered to ask about them and he smiled. "I would be most grateful, Persephone. Thank you." When she asked if he was still in the Prairie, he nodded. "Yes, I live there with my parents and their mother, Lillika, is there. You should find me or her there if you do find out anything." He assured her, feeling good about getting more help on his errand.
