He was learning a lot. The colt has never seen birth before or such a fragile creature that was the newborn colt. He realizes he was once the same when mother left him alone with Solomon. There must have been some level of trust for her to intrust the stallion with such a vulnerable child. Maybe her mission had been more important than he was to her. Whichever it was, he turned out fine. Mother had told him not long ago that she would not be visiting in the next few weeks. She said she would ne having another child and if the birth went anything like his had she would not be around in some time.


The eyes of the dunalino display shock. The mare reminds him of mother with the gold of her coat, but the differences were clear. This led to the colt's worry of his dam. Seeing this mare of Solomon's okay must mean she would be okay too. It was the other colt that draws his attention next. This brown colored colt was very young too, but didn't look quite as new. His pale ears lay back in his equally pale mane at the boy's warning. Lorcan was not scared of the colt, though he did not wish to cause any trouble. Still, he approaches. With slow steps Lorcan moves away from his hiding spot and into the open air. He doesn't dare get any closer to the group, but he had questions. He wasn't sure if it was curiosity or stupidity that leads him to continue.

"I-I'm sorry to interrupt. I didn't mean to see anything." He fumbles his words looking for the right question to ask. "I can fetch Solomon for you if you want." Nothing dawned on him to say this mare didn't want to see Solomon or that she was no longer a part of his herd. The other darker mare had mentioned Solomon was here looking for her so maybe she would like the offer. "I don't know who Rougaru is, but I will help if I can." The mention of the stallion Rougaru gave him a weird feeling. Some freight maybe? One thing his parents did teach him was to offer help to those in need and to be brave. He was attempting to do both.
