It didn't occur to him that he had never talked to the Desert lead before. He assumed Cain should just know who he was. Relief washed over him as he stands facing Cain. His posture was still in defense mode, but slowly his ears began to rise into a perked position. The question in Cain's eyes brought a lump to his throat.
