He just couldn't help himself; it was too good to pass up. What did one expect when coming upon such a delicious sight as the one rolled out before him like a pristine red carpet? He was a trickster, a master of chaos, and she, the delicate little flower, innocent in her quiet slumber as she rested by the blissful sounds of the waterfalls. It was almost enough to make him puke. The newest Marauder of the Lagoon had a reputation to keep up, after all. What better way than to stir a little pot on the Crossing? He could just skip on home to the Lagoon when he got bored, but he had a feeling this mare could be a little firecracker once he got the fuse lit just right. Her coat stood out in the dull tones of the treeline behind her, almost reminescent of his own, yet it had a darker shine to it when the sun hit it just right. Still, her womanly figure called to him as the young stallion ventured closer, keeping his hooves as quiet as possible on the path before him. A gleam of mischief like that of a serpent's twinkled in his venom green eyes as the stallion drew near and only when he was but a stride or two away did he lunge toward her torso with a thrust of his head. "Boo!" The Arabian was sure to dance out of reach of any straying back hooves as soon as the voice left his grinning lips, his tail whipping across his meaty flanks as laughter followed behind him. The mare was taller than him and built slender, more akin to his father, but he was still sure he could give her a run for his money when it came to speed. Of course, he wasn't planning on running away or anything. No, far from it. He liked to chase.
