~ never ever mistake her silence for weakness,

Hello Sunshine.

Her ears swivel together gracefully atop her crown and in the darkness a shy smile crawls across her dark lips. How could she not feel anything but happiness? Here in the darkest midnight, she meets her prince - he is not anything she had imagined - he is better. And even though this is only their second meeting, she feels as if they were old lovers from a different time - from a land far from these Falls. A land only spoken of in hushed tones and whispers, a land draped in mystery and intrigue.

"Romulus," she breathes as he wades into the waters, the dark waters ripple around the muscles of his chest and gently caresses his silver skin. She draws her dark eyes to meet his as he offers his whiskered muzzle and she draws her own to meet his. She can feel her heart thunder against her ribs and it threatens to burst from her breast.

She giggles as he teases her about it being rude if he had stood her up. She had hoped every minute and second that he had remembered her. And that he would meet her here so they could speak once more... maybe even exchange a brief touch.

"I was hoping you would of remembered me," she whispers, her voice holds a sadness. How many times in her past had she been forgotten? Used and tossed aside. She swallows back the fears and sadness. Romulus is different, so much different than Akmal. A pang of guilt shoots through her heart. He was her husband. She had fled from him and ended up here in this strange place. She tries to justify every action she had taken since that midnight hour, but still the voice whispers condemnation.

He draws her from her thoughts with the mention of good news. "Oh?" she eyes him curiously "You have so many secrets locked up inside of you, dont' you?" she gently tilts her head and a single lock of onyx forelock falls across her dark eyes. She then tilts her chin upward toward him and gently presses her muzzle against his once more.
