To all visitors of the meadow, a rabid coyote has been spotted in the area. Individuals are strongly cautioned against approaching it and should keep a close eye on curious foals. Its behavior is erratic and aggressive, and if it bites it could potentially transmit the virus, which causes a number of very unpleasant and painful symptoms and is always fatal.
This threat will pass (and the event will be closed) in a week's time, on August 27th.
RULES
1) In order to gain experience from this event, reply to this post and have your character interact with the event in some way. Only the first 5 eligible horses to respond win experience.
2) There are 5 possible experience points to win: one for each character. Only one character per player may win a point, so if a player has more than one eligible character respond, they must specify which of their characters they wish to receive experience.
3) Only mature characters (age 2+) may win experience, and only if they have not already met their maximum experience quota for the season.
4) No post comings are allowed until after all possible experience has been earned, and each post must be at least 200 words to qualify.
5) All eligible characters must respond to this post within a week in order to earn experience.
Other characters may join in even if even they cannot earn any experience, and the thread may continue even after a week has passed, or spill out into other threads for plot purposes.
This post will be updated as each experience point is given out. Points will be tallied under 'additional' on the battle tracker and added to the battle experience board as soon as possible.
