It had been a while since I've been in a herd. The last herd I was in, the mares apparently didn't like and I guess there was a certain mare that was jealous of me, I could never figure out why she was jealous in the first place. Maybe it was because I got special attention from the lead stallion.
Ah, yes, He was nice to me. He called me Silver Skittles. That made me laugh, but I know that I will never hear his voice again or call me that name.
One day, I was with my daughter, and then an earthquake happened. We got separated from the herd and we got lost trying to find the herd, but no luck. My daughter kept asking me questions about where was her daddy. I had to keep telling her that I don't know.
As we walked for the next few days, something odd happened one morning. I woke up to find my daughter gone. I panicked and I called out for her and I followed her hoofprints, but nothing. The only thing that I found was a few pools of blood. I was worried and sad at the same time. Some wolf or bear made a meal out of her and there was nothing that I could do. I had to move on and go somewhere safe. I ended up at the sea. It was cold at first. Until I stayed in the water longer it got warm as my body got used to it. I swam and swam until I ended up at this strange place. I could tell that Spring has arrived with the flowers starting to bloom and the weather was somewhat warm. After arriving, I decided to lay down for a little bit after all that traveling I did.
