Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

“Frey” The sound of his son’s name upon his lips is almost strange, as Tyr had not spoken it for a time. The trip to Atlantis had been longer than he had meant for it to be. Warmth and peace helping to slip away time, making the General blissfully unaware. But when he had returned, it was to much of the same chaos it always was. The stallion he had taken from the Harbor now gone. The challenge made for Kvothe somehow stung more, that thankfully Chronos was able to head off. But his son? It was no surprise that the red boy had been making waves in his sire’s absence. Would Aslan have been just as strong?

“I have heard what you have been up too.” Tyr said as he come to stand at his son’s side, his blue and green eyes cast out towards the sun. The colors that washed across the sky reflecting on the murky waters of their home, bringing a different sort of light that not many could see. Only the shadows greeted those that did not see further. “I knew you would not disappoint me in my absence.”

As much as it might have stung both mother and son, Tyr had known it would do the boy good to be on his own for a time. Although not completely alone, as Frey would always carry the protection of the brotherhood with him so long as he called the Lagoon home. “With more children coming into the world, it also means there will be more colts of your age looking to strike out on their own. Looking to make a name for themselves.” Finally, Tyr turned his head so that his eyes could rest upon Frey. “I would like for you to find and bring them here. Remember, not everything is about brute strength. You may tell whatever story you find will persuade them. We want them on our side.” The General instructed.
