I have kept my silence up until now as I grappled with my conflicting viewpoints. You all make valid points, but I think in the end we must think critically about what is best for our organization as a whole. I apologize in advance for the length of this message, but elections are important to our future, and deserve to be spoken of thoroughly.

It is my belief - for what it is worth - that Frey's enthusiasm is admirable. However, he is still young and has much to learn before he is ready to hold a position such as General. The implication that you nominated yourself for your sire's position without speaking to him first tells me that he has a shaky grasp of our chain of command, as well as much to learn about how and when to weaponize his respect (or lack thereof). Someday, I feel that Frey will make a powerful General, but I am afraid I cannot back his nomination yet.

Tyr and I have not always seen eye to eye. However, he has served faithfully as our General for longer than I have been among the Lagoon. If he does truly intend to run for Boss, I will gladly step forward into the running for General.

The matter of our Boss, however, I feel is the most important topic of discussion. From what I have seen of Rade, I do believe that he is leading our brotherhood toward a brighter future, and I am not eager to see him displaced. If he feels that he is capable of leading us forward, I will trust his judgement. If we, as brothers, feel that he is no longer representing our best interests, I will remind all of us that a mutiny is a powerful tool to make our voices heard. My vote shall be for Rade, for as Tyr put it: I am in strong belief that our Boss is more than capable of leading us.

However, Tyr, should you be elected, know that I will not be sorry to see you lead us forward either.

As for Carbon, I am in agreement of his promotion. As long as he is interested in becoming one of our number, he should be allowed the option.

That brings us to my final point: that of our Marauder. I have yet to hear from Chronos regarding the position he has held for some time, which leads me to suspect that he is no longer capable of serving us. I feel that leaving a position open makes us appear weaker than we are… and in that interest, I am stepping forward as a candidate for the Marauder position, as well as for the General position.

Make your decisions carefully, my brothers. Our future is in our own hands.
