She curiously eyes him as he draws nearer to her, there is gentleness in his gaze and a softness in his voice that calms the anxiety - that just moments ago threatened to swallow her whole. He confirms that he had never been to the Badlands but he had ventured to Salem with his brother. She had never left the Badlands, she had been too afraid to wander outside of its borders. Shall we? He asks gently, she can not help but feel safe when he was here - even though they had just met moments ago. She nods in agreement and allows him to step to her shoulder before she walks slowly across the hardened sands. Her green eyes are focused off in the distance, wondering quietly of Roheryn were watching her now... that he would be upset to find her here, here with someone else. She shakes out her knotted curls and draws her gaze to meet Ramiel's, a shy smile slips across her lips. "S-so, you from here?" she asks with a gentle tilt of her crown. She was not good at small talk, it always left her feeling uncomfortable. Well, she wasn't really good with any kind of talking. She always found solace amongst the wildflowers and the brilliant blue jays of her mountain homeland. Suddenly the thought pops into her mind. What if he didn't want to tell her about his home? What if that is private? "I m-m-mmean, if you want to tell me about it," she pauses and bites her lip "its just, I am not very good at this." her steps falter as her confession leaves her lips. She drops her hazel gaze to the sand at her hooves as the warmth spreads through her cheeks.
