That's EXACTLY the profile of an old timer in the program they call a dry drunk. Don't adhere to the program, they will never welcome you and always be cold to you. Thats why people who leave call it a cult. They shouldn't be sponsors, they should find one who came out of the addiction BETTER for it, not just the same only dry. I had one of each kind. The first one turned out to be a behind your back gossip with his friends, the other was shocked when I told him how my first sponsor broke my trust. The second one was a great sponsor who helped people, didn't judge them but did honor their trust. Just sayin. Replies:
