We found each other in the dark [Ramiel, any]

Through the black starless water,
And the cold lonely air. On the rock restless seas.

When Ramiel agreed to accompany her to Tinuvel, Tavas' eyes grew wide with excitement. A smile spread quickly across her whiskered lips, and she bobbed her head twice in celebration. "Really, Ramiel? That's great news." She said after bumping her chin to his shoulder once again. But a tinge of worry grew in her gut. The former princess of Tinuvel had no idea what - or who - she would find in the Inlet these days. She fretted that her family was long gone and that she'd never know what happened to Ironclad, Letavice and Brunhild. She wondered if Bjorn still lingered among the mountain peaks after all this time, and what he would think if he saw her now.

The golden mare let out a short snort an attempt to push these worries away. She feigned a more stressed smile to Ramiel now, and turned quickly on her haunches to head toward the shore.

"Here we go." She offered casually, but sheepishly, as she pressed on into the shallow surf. She craned her head to look back at the rolling hills of the Prairie for a second longer before following in the young spotted stallion's wake, silently grateful for his eagerness to help her. She wasn't sure she could do this alone.

The swim was brisk but not easy. By the time the pair emerged onto the shoreline of Tinuvel, Tavas felt quite winded. Her body was warm from the recent exertion, but a chill ran down the length of her spine as she took in the familiar sights of the black pebble beach. Somehow her old memories served her well, and they landed right in the mouth of her old home. Tavas breathed in the crisp air, the temperature of it shocking her lungs to some degree and looked to Ramiel again. This time, she didn't try to hide how she was feeling.

"Gosh, I'm so nervous Ramiel." She offered, as she jigged a bit, with no place else to send her energy. "What if they're not here? What if they won't forgive me?" Two golden ears flicked forward and back as her unedited thoughts slipped from her lips. She breathed in another sharp breath and looked for Ramiel to help steady her, before stepping further into the territory.

They moved quietly at first. Tavas' gold-flecked gaze took in the sights. So much felt the same, so cozy and familiar. But the scents here of others couldn't be more wild and different. "Perhaps we can see the Bay, too, while we're here." She offered, looking to gauge his reaction. Tavas knew Zevelun's relationship with his family's longtime home was complicated. But she wasn't sure what it meant to Ramiel.
