Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts

Tyr wasn’t sure what he expected, if he expected anything. He knew the Lagoon was practically deserted aside from the few spits of life here and there. So, when Frey arrived, interrupting the General’s thoughts, he can’t help but flick his ears forward in surprise. If there was ever a doubt for anyone to show up, Tyr had thought his son would be the one tardy. Frey had made it quite clear of his dislike for his sire a long time ago, though he did suppose it was most likely curiosity that drove the younger stallion to show up than anything. It wasn’t often, if ever, that Tyr called out into the shadows of the Lagoon.

Silence stretched out between them, but finally, Tyr gave up his wait for Rehoboam. The General had thought it would be the Marauder to show up before his son would, and clearly he had been wrong. “What do you think should be done about the Lagoon?” Tyr asked as he broke the silence. There was no point of trying to talk pleasantries with Frey. The matter of the Lagoon was why Tyr had called out in the first place, so that was the matter he would stick with now. Should Frey change the subject, Tyr was sure to listen, since his arrival had been a surprise of itself. Perhaps there would be another.
