The thought of venturing to the harbor weighed heavily on her heart and even more so on her mind and limbs. Shifting in her weight she contemplated what options were available. Too vexed to return to the sea the woman slipped her head to the shore inhaling slightly before casting a gaze for the horizon. What remnants of these isles still called to her? She needed a release something to silence the things she longed for the things that should have been.
Perhaps it was being tossed in the seas or the delirium of longing for her family had dulled her sense to the point she hadn't noticed the ebony mass who snaked his way to her side. His words caused her ears to turn and pay him attention. Her eyes watched him more serpentine than equine and when he reached out to touch her neck, the woman struck out with harsh teeth to the side of his face. A slender leg pawed the earth sharply near his own foreleg. "You think a dog like you has earned the right to touch me?" the golden and ivory woman hissed breaking contact as quickly as it was made.
Blunt teeth snaked towards his withers before she attempted to turn her hind and strike out at him. "Show me you are worthy of my time mutt or run away with your tail tucked." Pawing the earth she danced around to face him head-on. She knew the risks after he seemed built well enough and capable enough to handle a fight and yet she wouldn't permit herself to be touched by every roaming stallion that thought he had the balls to take her. The ebony stallion would be wise to put his money where his mouth is if he dared to entertain her.
