"Wait dad." a boys words cut through the tension like a knife, and instantly the rigid black stallion, softens. There is more than meets the eye with this frigid Northern stallion, and this draws Dhaniya numbly forward until she is just a breath from his onyx shoulder. Her honey colored eyes glance up at him from beneath a veil of thick lashes.

"Please," she breathes "let him stay until he is strong enough to leave." she glances over her shoulder at Rigel. She knew that she had no right to bargain with the Northern king, he owed her nor Rigel anything. But she can not ignore the tugging of her gut that beneath the rough exterior, possibly there is so much more to him.

Another breath leaves her nostrils as she draws her honey gaze to meet Rigel's - so much had happened since he had left. She had loved and lost. Had her own child. Left the Islands only to return. She is afraid that the woman he has come to find, is not the same as the one he had left here on the Islands all those months ago..
