The grizzled grullo steps from the ocean's grasp and pauses just within the hissing, bubbling surf. A gold tinted land spreads out before him - from the yellowed grasses to the brittle leaves of the aspens. The air is crisp and tingles his quivering nostrils. Autumn has drawn the Viking from the depths of the Harbor. It calls him forth. Despite his age, the season still breaths life into his bones, stirs a yearning to procreate. It is primitive drive, but one he does not ignore.

A crisp autumn breeze wraps itself around him like a lover's embrace and presses itself against his damp coat. Shivering against the cool air, he steps through the froth and onto the hardened sands. The fading silvery light guides him as he winds his way deeper into the familiar land.

How many times before had he set his hoof to these lands? They beckon to him - here there is promise of both heartache and retribution. Here the secrets of yesterday would reveal themselves to him. The murmuring and whispers would unveil the truth.

He settles beneath the golden canopy of an ancient oak, his ears lay against his scruffy neck - warning away any who dared to approach. But it seems that the gods had their own ideas, from the darkness a spotted woman materializes and dared to press to close. A squeal erupts from his gaping maw as his front foreleg struck out in protest of her nearness.

"Passa�u �ig � skrefi ��nu!" he hisses as he lashes out at her. He shifts his weight and sidesteps away from her - his displeasure contorts his face and lips pull back to reveal his blunt teeth.
