The crisp, yellow grass crunched beneath the spotted girls hooves as she quietly grazed on what is left of the summer's grasses. How quickly the lush, abundant green had faded into tasteless dried bits. Yet, the girl chews on, moving from one blade to the next, lost in her own thoughts. Thoughts of mother. Of father and Gavriel. There is longing in her breast - how she too wants to return to Tinuvel. Yet, she had stayed behind where Gavriel had left her. She wanted to protest more but in the end she knew that her staying in the Peak was for the best.
They did not know what or who ruled in the Cove, times changed quickly and so did leadership. One day a king who had it all the next, a common beggar on the crossing. She flicks her tail across her spotted hindquarters as movement draws her gaze. She watches the stranger stumble through the meadow - his coat similar to her brother's - causes her to draw her brows in a furrow. His hair is silver unlike Gav's but she can not ignore the tugging.
Vesna takes one step and then another as she is drawn toward him. She cautiously steps toward him, her dark eyes full of curiously and confusion. Was he another brother? She knew of her father's... reputation. That he had more children than any could count scattered across the Isles. She arrives at his side moments after his eyes have closed and his ears have drooped. Awkwardly the spotted girl clears her throat.
"Uhh, excuse me," she whispers "I know that you are about to take a nap annnd, I hate to bother you but... is your father Solomon?" the words finally blurt from her lips. She knew it was an awkward question to ask a complete stranger BUT she had to know she wasn't alone.
