She was naturally a cautious creature. She had been alone since she had been weaned - only too lucky that her mother had held out until she was a yearling before succumbing to the violence of their superstitious home. She had birthed a ghost-eye child and had therefore betrayed her soul somehow. It had meant she was usually far more skilled and attentive not to draw too much attention. Usually she wouldn’t go bathing just anywhere… but finding Roisin as she stepped out at her ‘hello’ was a pleasant surprise.
For one, she was a beautiful bronzed color with wild splashing marks she had only rarely seen in her kind. The awkward reply made her even more conscious of her state of being - although it was quite friendly and so she approaches the bank of the pool with more interest than caution. "I didn't mean to interrupt, I'm Róisín, Prime Minister of the Peak to the north there." The gesture gave her more of an understanding than the words describing her new companions home, her blank and then apologetic look telling Roisin all she needed to know, even before she asked, "Do you know of the Peak?"
She shakes her head, "No, but I am Khayali." her name is exchanged with a smile on her face and a delicate nose extended in Roisin’s direction. "I don’t live anywhere… I only just washed up an hour or so ago." Her bright personality peeks through, her caution lightened by the goodness she sensed from the first person to greet her openly in this foreign place. It did occur to her that there might be trickery behind the perfect greeting - but she was so relieved to see a friendly face during a season and a part of her travels where she most needed one..
