I am the monster in the woods;

Since his display of protective prowess in front of Parvati and the lagoon trespasser, the silver bay tobiano stallion decided keeping to patrols and the shadows was a much more proactive use of his time. Plus it would keep him out of trouble and as far as he was concerned the lovely Parvati seemed to bring that in droves wherever she went. Throughout the remaining spring and summer months, Loupgaru contented himself to watch over his new daughter from a distance and only daring to approach the filly when she slept or wandered too far from her mother’s side for his liking. Unlike his sire and other siblings, the paternal gene seemed to have skipped a generation when it came to him. While he found an immense, deep felt pride at watching his children frolic about the leas of the Inlet, he found himself lacking the will to approach or participate in whatever childish game they might invent like the brightly colored boy toy Parvati kept close to her side. Why the thought of that stallion irked him so much, Loupgaru did not know but he kept his opinions (and his fangs) to himself. It was much for fun to threaten him with hard glares and vicious snarls from the shadows anyway.

’Loup!.... Dear Loup de Loup!’ the sound of her little cutesy nickname rakes against his ears like the sound of claws raking across stone. He halts his progress, resisting the urge to peel back his whiskered lips in a throaty snarl. For a brief moment he debates about continuing his patrol in hopes of eluding her or even better someone else drawing her attention elsewhere. He did not exactly need the distraction of her scent this time of year. Two mistakes were enough to twine the chain tightly around his throat, he did not need any more. And yet as she draws nearer, the sound of her girlish giggling and overwhelming scent is enough to yank hard at the leash of his self control. Memories of their last coupling floods his senses and despite his better judgment, the beast turns him towards her. But he was far from letting his displeasure go unnoticed.

Golden eyes glitter in the shadows as he emerges from the dense pine forest. Dark ears turn backwards amid the messy knot of his debris filled mane. Ashen lips press firmly together as he glances first at her and then to the young male at her side. A single brow arches suspiciously as feral gaze turns once more to her voluptuous figure. ”Yes?” he growls, his multicolored tail switching against his heels as he forces the lustful beast back. It would be so easy to turn his frustrations on her once more, to wet his appetite with the flavors of her skin and the heat of their flame fueled passions. Perhaps he might even have given into the idea more quickly were it not for the expectant look in the eyes of the queen and her companion. ’What is it this time?’ he wants to bark and yet the words remain trapped behind closed lips. Parvati would no doubt have an explanation for him. She was not exactly the silent type after all.

OOC: forgive his broodiness. that is apparently the way he is lol
