If you let RHQ (Asst Regt Sec) know the specific cause you are raising money for, it will be directed to the correct fund. Dear Members,
As part of the Fusiliers Connect platform launch in April, the Regimental Council and Association are supporting two new initiatives to better connect members locally: Walk+Talk and Fusiliers Connect Coffee Club. We already have some Fusilier Walk+Talk events coming up (see below) and we are looking for volunteers from across the community to lead these new activities.
Walk+Talk is a simple, no fuss, no cost way to connect locally every month. It is always good to connect with a member from the Regimental family or those with shared experiences across the military community. Now more than ever we need to strengthen in-person peer support and what better way to do this than by getting out in the fresh air on a walk.
Maj Gen (Retd) Paul Nanson started the first Fusilier Walk+Talk in Shrivenham and there are already 8 established... and growing.
Our target is to grow to over 20 Fusilier-led walks all over the UK within 2 months, so we need your help.
To find out more or to volunteer to lead a new Fusilier Walk+Talk in your area please visit this website and complete the online form at the bottom of the webpage:
https://www.militaryapp.org/military-walk-and-talk
Each walk leader will be helped to set up and advertise their walks and will be sent some branded kit to give to their participants.
UPCOMING WALK + TALK EVENTS
To sign up to one of the upcoming Fusilier Walk+Talks, simply click on the walk WhatsApp chat group from your smartphone to join the group and let the walk leader know that you are coming. For full advert details visit https://www.militaryapp.org/military-walk-and-talk

FUSILIERS CONNECT COFFEE CLUB
Coffee Club is an easy way for family, veterans, serving Fusiliers (regular and reservist) and cadet adult volunteers to get together locally over a brew. A Coffee Club can be held in any local Coffee shop, restaurant or even a home, and the location, time and date are up to the Club leader. Each Coffee Club will meet at least 4 times a year and the Fusiliers Aid Society are supporting by covering the cost and advertising the events.
Some members, for whatever reason, cannot make a dinner or a walk, and so grabbing a coffee with like-minded people can provide that fun and important touch point. You don't have to know each other at first, or have served together, and family is at the heart of this.
Are you keen to lead a Coffee Club in your area?
Please visit this website for more information and to complete the Club Leader registration form.
https://www.militaryapp.org/pages/fusiliers-coffee-club
We’ll be sending out Fusiliers Connect Coffee Club mugs and thermos flasks to new groups.
Please volunteer to do your bit to better connect our community.
