"Attack you? Why would you think I would do that?" Sokar listened to the mare and started to figure that wasn't possibly the lead. As she came closer, something was different about her. He couldn't figure it out, but she was..something. Kachina lifted her head up and snorted. "Always wanting to fight with someone." She mumbled as she eyed the mare and her brother. "But I cant say the same for the leader here. Especially if this is how you greet her. Sokar was too stunned by the mare to say something. Kachina noticed this instantly. She has seen this before. He has fallen for mares but nothing serious happened. The mares he courted in the past disappeared and he would get upset every time. Didn't their father fell for their mother when she washed up on the shore of Punt? Their father was patrolling that day when he saw her and a few friends on the shore. His eyes were locked on her and couldn't get them off her. He was crazy for her, could Sokar be going down that same road? She was curious and wanted to know.
Kachina nickered and trotted up to the varnish roan mare. "My brother is a hot head, and he's used to fighting. There were a lot of angry horses where we lived. We are sorta new here to the islands. I'm Kachina and that is Sokar. I think he has a crush on you.." Kachina said as she looked at her brother. He heard what his sister said and he shook his head. What just happened? He blacked out there for a second. "No I do not! She is lying"! Sokar stomped his hoof and sprinted to Kachina and nipped her. He felt embarrassed and his heart was pounding, what was his sister doing? He did have a crush on her, but he didn't want to tell her immediately. "Apologies miss, my sister likes to exaggerate things. We heard that your lead mare is not very nice, and I don't know how she feels about visitors here."
