This is truly sad news.
Egurbi was the P/M when I played at Milford. He was a gracious man and a true legend of our sport.
As hectic as his job was, he took time to mentor me and taught me so much.
I was only 19 years old and had already loved the sport of jai-alai, and I will love it forever because of his teachings.
Egurbi will not be forgotten, nor will his influence on my life.
High cesta to Egurbi! One of the greatest.

Rest in peace.
